This Fall, Sandford - our Bilingual Engagement Officer - had the pleasure of visiting École NDA in Cheticamp to engage with their students about Energy in Nova Scotia. While he was visiting, the school showed off the actions they have been taking to be more environmentally friendly. Led by Mr. Sogne - the school Community Development Officer at NDA - the students have been using their cafeteria’s compost to grow trees, working with the community to collect batteries, tending to a greenhouse, and growing their own sprouts! Mr. Sogne and his students clearly have a passion for community action and energy efficiency and are leading the way as a Green School with their hard work and innovation.
