Taolue Liu

Tao is excited to be a part of the Green Schools’ Engament Officer team. With an M.A. in TESL from the University of Idaho, Tao has taught Mandarin Chinese and English as an additional language in schools across both the U.S. and China. Over the past five years, Tao has been fortunate to collaborate with educators from geophysics backgrounds and partner with universities and non-profit organizations in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Together, they engaged grade 5-12 students in ecological conservation-themed projects, project-based learning initiatives, and citizen scientist investigations.

Recently, Tao moved to Maritime Canada and earned a certificate in American Sign Language (ASL) from NSCC. Tao is eager to share a passion for education and sustainability with the Green Schools community and looks forward to inspiring others to embrace sustainable development.
