Green Careers Exploration at Central Colchester Junior High School

A few weeks ago, our Green Careers EO Elisa had the opportunity to attend Central Colchester Junior High School’s very first Career Fair! Elisa got to share with Grade 8 and 9 students from both Central Colchester Junior High School and West Colchester Consolidated about green jobs and opportunities that they can explore as they move through school. 

From medicine to construction to conservation efforts, many students shared their interest in sustainability and the environment. It was amazing to see the students reflect on their own values and interests and share how this could align them on a career path that they may not have considered before.

We are enthusiastic about helping students explore career paths in the green sector, sparking innovation, and discussing the importance of connecting interests and values to your career. Together, we can create a greener and more sustainable Nova Scotia. 💚
