Green Careers and Women Unlimited

This week, our Green Careers Engagement Officer Elisa had the chance to present at two Women Unlimited groups at NSCC! Elisa had a great time talking with the women about different careers that support the green sector, focusing on careers in trades and technology.

There was great discussion around the implications of some newer technologies and how they can impact the environment. While we may not have all the answers right now, it is important for people to continue asking these questions so we can create new solutions that are better for the environment. Staying curious and always asking “Why?” or “How can we do better?” is the first step to moving forward.

Green Schools is proud to continue supporting students, learners, and programs that encourage folks to think deeper about current technologies and how we can improve them.
