✨Tiny Home Building with Kings County Adult High School!✨

Last week, our Green Careers Engagement Officer, Elisa, visited students from Kings County Adult High School. This small group of students is working on a big project—building a tiny home! Currently sitting next to a quaint community garden at Valley Community Learning Association, a tiny home is under construction. From thick insulation to three-pane windows, this home is a prime example of green buildings within the community. 

The Green Careers presentation provided students with insights into the importance of green buildings and the vast career opportunities that are within the green sector. Blending learning with practical skills and purpose, this tiny home project gives students a real, hands-on approach to what it is like working in the green building sector.
