Back to newsJust a few weeks ago, our Green Careers EO Elisa got the chance to visit some schools in Cape Breton. With it being her first time in the Cape Breton Highlands, Elisa was amazed at the stunning fall colours on the trees and the beautiful water reflecting yellow, orange, and red leaves.
Similar to the beauty of the outdoors, Elisa found herself amazed at the artwork that painted the walls of the classrooms and hallways at Cabot Education Centre. While pictures can never hold the true beauty of a scene, Elisa was able to snap a shot of this beautiful quote. Aligning with the mission of Green Schools, education and learning is key to taking that next step forward to build a greener Nova Scotia. It is one of the few beauties in life that cameras can never capture.
