Green Careers — In French!

This week, Jonah had the pleasure of visiting two CSAP schools to conduct our first ever Green Careers engagements in French! He travelled with Fiona, our newest Bilingual Engagement Officer, to École Mosaïque and École acadienne de Truro. Jonah did amazing work over the past few months translating and adjusting our current Green Careers engagement to be offered in our second official language.

Green Careers is an sub-section of our Green Schools program, delivering interactive presentations on the green building sector, net-zero goals, and careers in the green sector that students can explore. Developed by our previous Green Careers Specialist, Emma, this version contains a hands-on element where students get to design their very own net-zero house! With this new pilot of offering Green Careers in French, all Nova Scotia high school teachers who are interested can now have Green Careers join their classroom in both official languages.
