Meet Our New Engagement Officer: One Month of Inspiration! ✨

Fiona has been an Engagement Officer for Green Schools Nova Scotia for almost a month now, and she’s already inspired by the incredible passion for sustainability she’s seen in schools across the province. 🌿

From classrooms flooded with natural light to students leading eco-actions, like Earth Day cleanups, she’s been blown away by the creativity and dedication of Green Heroes. 🌎 She has been particularly impressed to notice that most, if not all, of the classrooms she has visited so far use natural light instead of overhead lights. ☀️ Seeing schools take the initiative to protect the planet reminds her every day why this work matters.
