Exciting things to come! NSCC and Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Bright Futures award is growing, and so are we! 

We are thrilled to announce that Emma, our dedicated Engagement Officer for HRM, will be filling the new role of Green Career Specialist. Emma’s primary objective is to promote the exceptional programs offered at NSCC and Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Bright Futures award.

There have also been some exciting changes made to the Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Bright Futures award, including the addition of several new programs. These additions will provide even more opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the green sector! 

As part of her role, Emma will be traveling across Nova Scotia, visiting high school classrooms to engage with students and educate them about the exciting career opportunities available in the green sector. Through interactive presentations and discussions, Emma will inspire and inform students about the various pathways they can pursue to make a positive impact on the environment and contribute to a sustainable future.

Emma’s extensive knowledge and passion for the green sector will be evident as she shares valuable insights, highlights success stories, and provides guidance on the educational programs and resources available. She will ensure students have a clear understanding of the potential career paths and the steps they can take to achieve their goals.

By collaborating with NSCC and Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Bright Futures award, Emma aims to empower students to make informed decisions about their future and encourage them to consider the rewarding and impactful opportunities within the green sector.
