Happy Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many people consider squirrels a pesky nuisance, but squirrels are actually very intelligent and interesting creatures! We should enjoy sharing our space with them. Did you know there are over 200 species of squirrel around the world (except in Australia)? Also, did you know the world’s smallest squirrel is the African pygmy squirrel measuring 5 inches from nose to tail and the world’s largest squirrel is the Indian giant squirrel and is three feet long!?

So, on this day of appreciation, why not take a moment for squirrels!
