Learning for a Sustainable Future has extended the deadline until Jan 17th, 2019 for responses to their climate change education survey. It will take you about 20 minutes to complete. All contributions are anonymous. You can get in touch with researchers, Dr Ellen Field or Associate Professor Paul Berger for more information.
What is climate change education and how should it be taught?
Research is being undertaken to investigate teachers’ important perspectives on climate change education. This study is being undertaken by Lakehead University and Learning for a Sustainable Future with funding from SSHRC. The results from the survey will be shared with provincial/territorial Ministries of Education, Teacher Federations, and other education stakeholder groups. The survey is available in both English and French.

Quelle est l’éducation au changement climatique et comment devrait-on l’enseigner?
Une étude a été entreprise pour examiner les perspectives importantes des enseignants sur l’éducation au changement climatique. Elle est effectuée par l’Université Lakehead avec la collaboration de L’éducation au service de la Terre et le financement du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines (CRSH). Les résultats du sondage seront transmis aux ministères de l’Éducation provinciaux et territoriaux, les fédérations des enseignants et des autres partenaires en éducation. Le sondage est offert en français et en anglais.
