Tantallon Senior Excel are Energy Navigators!

Tantallon Senior Excel has a lot going on! These students are busy every minute of their after school program. Green Schools Nova Scotia visited the groups recently and they learned about how much energy the school consumes by using the Energy Dashboard near the main entrance. On the day of our visit, this school was ranked 17 out of 70 schools for energy efficiency – that’s a pretty awesome score!

The Excel group was keen to be Energy Navigators, and they toured the main floor in search of lights and electronics left on to reduce the energy consumption of the school. The group was impressive in their attention and their attitude. These learners demonstrated their eagerness to learn and their gratitude for our visit – what a great experience for a presenter! And a big thanks to all the students who signed the Thank You note as well.
